Architecture Workshop
Madras Craft Foundation is organising a four-
day residential workshop on "Materials and Techniques
used in Traditional Architecture” third one in the
series titled "Spirit of Vernacular Architecture of
South India" at DakshinaChitra,
Mutukadu, East Coast Road, Chennai from September 23 - 26,
2004, by our committed and experienced team of architects.
An in depth study of Materials and Techniques
used in traditional architecture with innovative solutions
which are pertinent to India and which may create trends
internationally in the future. There will be practical sessions
in which participants will have hands on experience based
on research, fieldwork and construction activities.
Course Fee: Rs. 1,500/- inclusive of materials,
food and accommodation.
